Photographer · Founder
I started photographing weddings the year I left advertising — a quiet Goa wedding for a friend who couldn't afford a "real" photographer. I shot it on a borrowed Mamiya 645 and three rolls of Portra. I've been a wedding photographer ever since.
Studio Lumière is a deliberately small practice. We take on twenty-four weddings a year, a handful of editorial commissions, and a steady rhythm of newborn and family sessions out of our Bandra studio.
I photograph alongside Naina Joshi, my partner and co-lead — together we run every wedding as a two-camera team. Our work has been published in Vogue India, Khush Magazine and The Voice of Fashion, but our favourite frames are still the ones nobody asks us to take.
How we work
We don't pose, we don't direct. We listen, we move slowly, and we wait for the moments that find themselves.
Every wedding is shot on a mix of medium-format film (Portra 400, Tri-X) and Leica digital — for archival warmth and tonal honesty.
Every frame in your gallery is hand-toned by us — no batch presets, no AI clean-ups. We deliver fewer, better images.
Photographs deserve paper. Every wedding package includes a hand-bound 12×10 archival album printed in Italy.

Studio kit · For the curious
We shoot with what serves the moment. The tools are the same most weeks — film bodies for the slow frames, Leicas for everything else.
